Tucked within lush, curated landscaping, the north-facing courtyard and pool form a private oasis — intimate, sunlit and alive with movement and light. Indoor spaces flow effortlessly outward, embraced by palms and flowering tropical greenery, unfolding onto an entertaining area fully equipped with the finest Wolf outdoor barbecue.
It feels as though the architecture has gently stepped back to let nature take the lead. Water sparkles beneath shifting light, inviting a morning swim, a cooling dip or a moment of stillness in the dappled shade. We drew inspiration of the surrounding inner-city context. The landscape design has a focus on building ambience, with the use of a water feature in the front courtyard providing a tranquil relief to the busy surrounds.
Framed internal outlooks to pockets of lush, shade tolerant planting seamlessly blur the transition between hardscape and softscape. Simple, yet elegant hedging surrounding the pool provides a sophisticated and clean linear green screen to widen the feel of rear garden, creating an expansive illusion.
